Blade: Very old Sheffield file, satin finished flat-grind with the teeth showing on the flats

Handle: Desert Ironwood

Furniture: Brass guards with resin filled file work on the subhilt guard

Sheath: Mottled Dark Brown leather

Additional Info: Comissioned piece. The brief was a tanto shaped blade made from an old file, with a desert ironwood handle and filework on the sub guard. I was dubeious about the original design, but it came out rather well in the end (the customer was happy, which is the important thing!)
