Tsnami
Blade Length: 7"
Overall Length: 12"
Blade: EN42 Carbon steel with a distinct hamon
Handle: Mgurure wood with Imitation ivory and Lapis Lazuli spacers
Furniture: Brass guard and butt plate. Fine red and black liners
Sheath: Desert Ironwood scabbard. Leather frog not shown.
Additional Info: A beautiful, elegant knife with an asian flavour. Photographs never do hamons justice, but if you think it looks good here then you will be amazed at the real thing! The scabbard has been lined with leather to prevent scratching. A few words about the handle; lapis lazuli is a dark blue with gold veins running through it and the 'ivory' came from monogram insets from a set of lawn bowls dated 1867. It turned out not to be ivory but an early plastic!
